At Palais Rhoul, meals are woven into the life of the house. The restaurant opens onto the lagoon and the desert, and the table follows the same principle as everything else here: nothing superfluous, nothing rushed.
The menu shifts with the season and the market. Vegetables, herbs and fruit are chosen for freshness, sourced locally wherever possible.
Seafood holds a natural place at the table. Depending on the day's catch, guests may find fish, octopus, oysters, lobster or langoustines before them — prepared simply, so the ingredients speak for themselves.
Lunch is led by Rachida, who has cooked Moroccan recipes at Palais Rhoul for years. Each morning she bakes her own bread from a sourdough starter dating back to 1964. Dinner is prepared by Fayz, whose cooking follows the same principles: fresh produce, Moroccan influences, no unnecessary complexity.
Meal plans
Two options are available to guests staying at the house:
Half board — 350 MAD per person, per day, excluding drinks. Includes breakfast and dinner.
Full board — 600 MAD per person, per day, excluding drinks. Includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The meal plan must be confirmed at the time of booking, or at the latest on the morning of arrival. It applies to the full length of stay and to all guests on the reservation.
Certain products — red lobster or select premium dishes — may carry a supplement, depending on availability.
Palais Rhoul offers neither room service nor minibars. Meals are served in the restaurant and on the terraces, where the lagoon unfolds before the guest.
Outside guests are welcome for dinner, by reservation and subject to availability. Seating is limited to preserve the quiet of the table, and reservations are confirmed in the order they are received. Dinner for outside guests is 380 MAD per person, excluding drinks.
Reservations and enquiries by email only.
