Dakhla is one of the world’s most renowned kitesurfing destinations. With its turquoise lagoon, steady winds, flat-water areas, ocean-side waves and desert landscapes, the region offers rare variety for learning, progressing or refining your riding.
From Palais Rhoul Dakhla, kitesurfing outings are planned according to the conditions of the day: wind, tide, swell, participants’ level and the aim of the session. Depending on the weather window, instructors can guide you towards Dakhla’s most suitable spots, including PK25, Speed Spot, Lassarga, the White Dune and other adapted areas.
Private lessons, sessions for two, small groups, equipment rental, wingfoil or supervised downwinders may be arranged according to your level, availability and conditions. What matters is choosing the right spot, the right moment and the right pace.

In Dakhla, each spot has its own character. Depending on the wind, tide and swell, sessions may take place on the lagoon, at PK25, Speed Spot, Lassarga or across the wide-open spaces of the White Dune.
Supervised sessions and progression
First sessions, waterstarts, riding upwind, transitions, strapless riding, waves, foil or wingfoil: each session is adapted to the rider’s level, with progressive guidance and clear objectives.
Guided sessions and progression
Lessons are organised with qualified instructors, subject to availability. The work may focus on safety, reading the water, choosing and adjusting equipment, or technical progression.
Dakhla from another perspective
Kitesurfing offers another way to experience Dakhla through wind and water: riding facing the desert, reaching the most preserved areas, setting out on a downwinder or simply enjoying a session in the light of the lagoon.
Course organisation
Kitesurfing and wingfoil lessons should be arranged in advance, particularly during periods of high demand and according to wind and tide windows.
Lesson duration, prices, formats, equipment rental and any available packages are agreed directly with the instructor or partner school, according to your level, dates, weather conditions and progression goals.
Outings, lessons, downwinders and equipment rentals remain subject to safety conditions, wind, tide, visibility and participants’ levels. If conditions are unsuitable, the session may be adjusted, moved or postponed.
