Conduite de quad sur sable chaud du désert – Palais Rhoul Dakhla

Quad biking in the Dakhla desert

Saharan tracks, ocean views and end-of-day light

From Palais Rhoul Dakhla, the quad excursion reveals another facet of the territory: Saharan tracks, sand ridges, ocean lines and that particular light that sweeps across the desert at day's end. Accompanied by a local guide, the experience unfolds in small groups, at a pace matched to each rider — between movement, silence and pauses facing the open landscape.

Late afternoon departures are the most recommended: the light turns warmer, the landscapes gain depth, and the return unfolds in a gentler mood. The sunset on the ocean side, as the dunes take on their golden hues, deserves particular attention.

Organisation of the outing

The excursion is available upon request, depending on availability, weather, wind and terrain conditions.

Rate: 900 MAD per person, for an outing of approximately 2 hours, individual quad.

Helmet, protective goggles and a safety briefing are included. We recommend closed shoes, a scarf or headwrap, sun protection and a light windbreaker depending on the season.

The activity takes place in small groups, with a local guide. The route may be adjusted according to visibility, tide, sand and the level of participants. Booking in advance is recommended.

Combinations with other experiences — the White Dune, a nomadic stop, a return to the spa — can be arranged according to the pace of the stay and availability.
