How to Get to Dakhla from France and Europe – Flights and Transfer to Palais Rhoul

Dakhla is served by direct flights from France, Europe and Morocco, as well as connections through Morocco's main airports. Here is what you need to know before you travel.



From Paris

Transavia flies direct from Paris-Orly throughout the year. Royal Air Maroc serves the same route. The flight takes around four and a half hours.


From Marseille and Bordeaux

Royal Air Maroc offers direct flights to Dakhla. Transavia also runs seasonal flights from Marseille.


From Madrid

Ryanair operates seasonal direct flights to Dakhla. A useful option for travellers coming from Spain or connecting through Madrid.


From the Canary Islands

Binter Canarias runs a year-round direct service from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Worth considering if you are already visiting the Canary Islands or planning to combine both destinations.


From other cities in France and Europe

Connections are available via Casablanca, Agadir or Marrakech with Royal Air Maroc. Common departure points from France include Paris, Marseille, Nice and Lyon.


By road within Morocco

Dakhla is also reachable overland. CTM and Supratours run long-distance coaches from Casablanca, Agadir and Marrakech. Journey times range from 20 to 30 hours depending on where you start.


Transfer from the airport

Dakhla Airport is around 15 minutes from Palais Rhoul. A private transfer can be arranged on request at 150 MAD per way. The driver waits at the airport's single exit. This must be confirmed in advance by email.
