Outdoors by the lagoon: Saharan gardens, timber decks & direct water access
Between desert and ocean, the outdoor areas of Palais Rhoul Dakhla extend the soul of the house: noble materials, clean lines and wide-open views of the lagoon. Timber walkways, mineral patios and open-air lounges invite you to live outside,
to the rhythm of the tides and the soft Atlantic breeze.
At sunrise and sunset the Saharan light gilds the dunes and turns the scenery photo-perfect, time gently slowing down.
Planted with desert species, aromatic herbs and cacti, the gardens converse with the water. A beach hut on the sand hosts leisurely meals, while the private jetty offers tide-dependent swimming, launching, and boarding our house boat for sand-bank escapes.
Seek quiet, read, meditate, practice yoga or Nordic walking,
then drift back to the Spa – or the heated pool (in season) to prolong the calm.
